Extrusion Sheet
"Extrusion Sheet" refers to a type of plastic sheet that is produced through the extrusion process. Extrusion is a manufacturing technique where raw plastic material is melted and formed into a continuous profile. In the case of extrusion sheets, the material is pushed through a flat die, creating a sheet of uniform thickness.
Structure of Extrusion Sheet:
BG Plast has an expertise in creating and producing calendars for thermoplastic material production that come in a variety of geometries. The foundation of the extrusion process used to make films and sheets is made up of these devices.
Precision electromechanical control is implemented on roll opening and closing, which can guarantee thicknesses from 0.1 to 40 mm, depending on material. The closing force, which is measured in "linear kg/cm," varies according on the kind of polymer and is determined by the hydraulic pistons' size, which ranges from 80 to 120 linear kg/cm). A separate thermoregulation unit controls water/oil flow and temperature for each roll. Each roll is driven by an independent gearbox.
We also provide customized solutions of Extrusion Sheet based on the Sizes of Extrusion lines and calendars which may vary according to the final product, required by the customer. The width range of calendar rolls goes from 450 mm to 8000 mm.
We implement different types of feed-block configurations and several co-extrusion applications, using up to 7 extruders.
